This site uses very few cookies. We set none of our own; the Google Analytics ones, used to count visits, start only if you accept in the banner. Here is the list and how to change your mind.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a site saves in your browser to recognise you on your next visit or to collect statistics. Similar tools are localStorage (a browser memory the site can read) and technical identifiers. On this page we call them all "cookies".
Technical cookies
The site www.looplywatersports.com sets no cookies of its own. The only thing we save in the browser is one entry in localStorage:
- looply_consenso — remembers whether you accepted or declined statistics cookies (value "si" or "no"), so the banner does not reappear on every page. It stays until you clear the site's data from your browser. It does not identify you and never leaves your browser.
The Poppins typeface is downloaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com): Google Fonts sets no cookies, but the request sends your browser's IP address to Google.
Statistics cookies (only with consent)
To know how many people visit the site and which pages they read we use Google Analytics 4 with Google's consent mode (Consent Mode v2) and IP address anonymisation. Until you press "Accept" in the banner, Google Analytics sets no cookies. If you accept, these cookies are created:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visitors apart with a random identifier: it counts people, not pages. | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Keeps the visit session open and remembers the state of the site's Google Analytics property. | 2 years |
Data collected by Google Analytics is processed by Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC (USA); how we protect transfers outside the EU is explained in the privacy policy. To learn how Google uses the data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Change your choice
You can accept or decline statistics cookies whenever you like. Press the button below: the banner reopens and the new choice replaces the previous one.
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all have a "Cookies and site data" entry). If you block them all, the site keeps working normally.
The demo and the software
The demo (demo.looplywatersports.com) and each school's software (schoolname.looplywatersports.com) are applications with restricted access: to keep you logged in they use technical session tools (technical cookies or browser storage), which are necessary for operation and do not require consent. They use no statistics or advertising cookies.
Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we update this page and the date at the top. If the cookies that require consent change, the banner is shown to you again.
